Wheat Flours

We source only wheat and whole wheat flours milled from high quality wheat grown in the US and Canada.

Cheddar Cheese

We use real cheese in every batch of Baked with Whole Grain Cheddar Goldfish crackers. It is specially aged for months to give the crackers their distinctive sharp flavor.

Cheddar Cheese

We use real cheddar cheese in our Goldfish crackers.

Spice Mix

We use paprika, spices and dehydrated onions as flavorings in the dough.

Yeast extract

Used to enhance the savory flavor of foods.

Natural flavors

A common term for flavors which give products their distinctive tastes. Natural flavors, oils or extracts can be derived from a wide range of foods such as fruits, vegetables and herbs. We choose natural flavors in order to avoid using artificial flavors.


We use table salt in the dough to add seasoning and flavor.

Ingredients for Texture

Whole Wheat Flour

Derived from the wheat grain, the flours that we use in our Goldfish crackers help to provide a desired textural experience. This flour is milled to preserve the whole grains.

Enriched Wheat Flour

The flour is enriched with essential nutrients: niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2) and folic acid. The flour we use is made from soft red winter wheat grown in the US and Canada.

Ingredients for Color


Annatto is used in cheddar cheese to give it the orange hue. The coloring is extracted from the reddish seeds of the achiote tree, which grows in tropical climates.

Ingredients for Leavening

Yeast – in combination with leavening agents

We use these ingredients to give the crackers their distinctive puffiness. We use Baking Soda as well as Monocalcium Phosphate and Ammonium Bicarbonate to help the crackers rise in the oven. Sugar is also required to activate the yeast.

Genetically Modified Ingredients

In America, approximately 90% of all canola, corn, soybean and sugar beet crops are grown from genetically modified seeds. Farmers have been using these seeds for more than 20 years as they are safe, reduce costs and improve yields.
