Wheat Flour

We source only flour milled from high quality wheat grown in the US and Canada.

Flavor Blasted Topical Seasoning

We use a variety of different seasonings on the outside of our Flavor Blasted® Goldfish® crackers to enhance the overall eating experience.

Ingredients for Flavor

Topical Seasonings

Components to these seasonings such as Disodium guanylate and disodium inosinate (Slammin’ Sour Cream & Onion, Wild White Cheddar, Burstin’ BBQ, Queso Fiesta) are used to enhance the umami flavor.

Enzyme modified cheese

Enzyme modified cheese is used in our Xtra Cheddar and Xplosive Pizza Flavor Blasted® Goldfish® crackers. This is cheese that has had enzymes added to enhance the cheese flavor.

Spice Mix

We use paprika, spices and dehydrated onions as flavorings in the dough.

Autolyzed Yeast

Used to add a savory flavor to the crackers.

Natural flavors

A common term for flavors which give products their distinctive tastes. Natural flavors, oils or extracts can be derived from a wide range of foods such as fruits, vegetables and herbs. We choose natural flavors in order to avoid using artificial flavors.

Ingredients for Texture

Enriched Wheat Flour

The flour is enriched with essential nutrients: niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2) and folic acid. The flour we use is made from soft red winter wheat grown in the US and Canada.

Ingredients for Leavening

Yeast – in combination with leavening agents

We use these ingredients to give the crackers their distinctive puffiness. We use Baking Soda as well as Monocalcium Phosphate and Ammonium Bicarbonate to help the crackers rise in the oven. Sugar is also required to activate the yeast.

Genetically Modified Ingredients

In America, approximately 90% of all canola, corn, soybean and sugar beet crops are grown from genetically modified seeds. Farmers have been using these seeds for more than 20 years as they are safe, reduce costs and improve yields.

The ingredients in Flavor Blasted Goldfish crackers that may be derived from these crops are:

Canola and soybean

- Vegetable oil


- Corn flour, cornstarch, maltodextrin, modified food starch, citric acid, vinegar solids

Sugar beet

- Sugar, molasses

Non-GMO ingredients

- All other ingredients including enriched wheat flour, cheddar cheese and spices are not genetically modified.


We know that allergen information is important to parents making choices for their children.  If any of our products include one of the top eight allergens it is indicated in the ingredients list on the product label. The eight most common allergens are peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, fish, wheat, soy and shellfish. If a natural flavoring contains one of these allergens this is clearly indicated in parentheses in the ingredients list on the product label.
